My own personal experience of how successful this therapy can be at alleviating disease by helping to maintain good health, was pivotal to why I chose to study and qualify as a licensed acupuncture practitioner.

 

I attended the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM), graduating with BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture. My 5-year intensive studies encompassed the Western medical principles of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology,  together with both Classical and Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture, Cupping therapy and Moxibustion techniques.

 

I am also a trusted and certified member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). The BAcC is our licensed acupuncture practitioners main regulator and governing body, with defining principles in the code of hygienic standards and safe practice for public protection.

Over the last 2 years I have regularly treated patients, first at the College and now in my own clinic located in the peaceful village of Dormansland. The practice is established at my home and run from a peaceful clinic room given over exclusively for acupuncture and clinical purposes only.

I am successfully treating patients who are suffering a variety of acute or chronic conditions and symptoms such as; pain management of many musculoskeletal disorders or sports injury, Stress modulation, emotional anxiety and mental disruption, inflammatory and allergy reactions, autoimmune and post-viral syndromes including long-covid, insomnia, migraine headache control, inflammatory gut digestive disorders, menstrual management, fertility support and many dermatological conditions including acne, eczema and psoriasis.

I have personally experienced and witnessed its magic in clinic. The holistic ability of acupuncture to successfully heal each unique and individual human being is extraordinary. As a practitioner I feel privileged help and support patients with such a gentle therapy.
